- Childhood Acute Lymphocytic (Lymphoblastic) Leukemia (ALL).
- Early-stage Breast Cancer (Stages 0 to IIIA).
- Prostate Cancer (Low to Intermediate Risk) Requiring Prostatectomy.
- Kidney Transplant for End-Stage Kidney Disease.
Who Is Eligible?
The program is available to all eligible PhilHealth members under the following categories:
- Employed sector
- Individually paying members
- Lifetime member program participants
- Sponsored program members
- Overseas workers program participants
Qualified dependents of these members are also entitled to avail of the benefits provided by the Type Z Benefit Program.
Program Description
The Type Z Benefit Program offers additional coverage for severe medical conditions to help ease the financial burden on patients and their families. The program provides comprehensive coverage for the identified illnesses, including:

- Childhood Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL): ₱210,000.00 for complete treatment.
- Early-stage Breast Cancer: ₱100,000.00 for complete treatment.
- Prostate Cancer: ₱100,000.00 for complete treatment.

- Hospital room and board fees.
- Laboratory exams and medications.
- Operating room charges.
- Professional fees for doctors and specialists.
- Other mandatory services necessary for the treatment course.
